“Remove all contracts with private
for routine task,” he said at City Hall, Monday (8/24).
Ahok highlighted that all projects
handled by private did not bring any satisfaction. Street light project for example.
“Public complaint as many street
lights in North Jakarta damage through Qlue application, and have no any
response,” he asserted.
He instructed City Industry and Energy Department to cut off the contract. “If it not stop, I can disperse them. Just handing over the task to urban village or sub-district heads and will be monitored by Infrastructure and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officer, and record all the data to the computer,” he uttered.
According
to him, the effort could be profitable. Alike dredging work, City
Administration prefers to buy own equipment and pay the operator. “We better
manage it by ourselves, don’t even rent our equipment to private,” he
disclosed.
